I am an East Tennessee native and moved to Iowa in 2007 for residency at the University of Iowa. I joined ECIAC immediately upon completing residency in 2010 and have served as the medical director at Jones Regional Medical Center and on the ECIAC executive committee during my career. My primary emergency medicine interest is EMS, and I am the medical director for multiple agencies in the region. My wife, Janel, and I live in Robins with our four children, a dog, and a cat. We are actively involved in our church ministries and enjoy hiking, gardening, and the craziness of parenthood.
