Dr. Dierks get up in the Southwest in Arizona and California. After receiving her BS in microbiology, she moved to Iowa to start her medical career at Des Moines University. Although she and her husband always planned on moving back to Arizona after completing residency at University of Iowa, she fell in love with Iowa and knew that this was the place she wanted to call home. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys endurance running, vegetable and flower gardening, traveling, spending time with family, and listening to music.
