I grew up in Cedar Rapids and I attended Kennedy High school. I spent 18 months globetrotting after college and through that experience decided to go to medical school. I completed a joint medical and law school degree at the University of Iowa. I then completed an emergency medicine residency at Washington University in St Louis. My first job was at Vanderbilt University in Nashville where I spent 4 great years in the Music City before returning home to Cedar Rapids in 2017. My family and I enjoy all the big town amenities without the big city hassles in Cedar Rapids.
