Sharon Jia did her medical school training at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She then went to complete a 3 year emergency medicine residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, and an ultrasound fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She moved to Iowa for her spouse’s job.
