Tiyanna Russell, PA-C, was born and raised in Burt, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa where she earned an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences. While attending Iowa State she also worked as an in-home certified nursing assistant and at a local nursing home back home during breaks and holidays. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Tiyanna went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Ambrose University. Throughout her experiences, she found a love for emergency medicine which gives her the opportunity to care for people of all ages and ethnicities and to see a variety of medical problems each and every day. In her free time she enjoys exercising, trips to target, traveling, reading, or spending time with her boyfriend and their rescue cat, Phoebe.
